Giuseppe Marinoni film to screen at Hot Docs

Directed by Tony Girardin, Marinoni is a documentary film about legendary Italian-Canadian frame builder and cyclist Giuseppe Marinoni, who at 75 attempts to set the world record for longest distance cycled in one hour for his age group.

The film follows the elderly cyclist as he reluctantly allows documentation of his training program, and a surprising relationship develops as the bicycle maker turned competitor approaches his goal. A must see for fans of the the golden age of vintage craftsmanship and the love of competitive cycling.

Marinoni will be screening as part of the Hot Docs film festival. Dates and venues below:

Tickets are $14.60 (excluding  HST).
Students (with valid ID) and seniors (60+) can attend daytime screenings (screenings before 5 p.m.) for free.
